Emotions
thinking about our future
Secondary School PAVONI
Secondary School PAVONI
There are some moments in our lives in which
emotions can prevail.
One of these periods is adolescence: emotions are really
strong, can sometimes be overwhelming and it is not always easy to control
them.
This is our daily experience with our students, who are between 11 and 14
years old.
And when a tough choice has to be made?
Even more difficulties
arise, therefore it is important to get to know one’s emotions, strengths and
weaknesses.
For example, our last year students have to choose how to continue
their studies: which school to choose and which path to follow. In order to
help them, we proposed an activity that involved creative writing and art.
The
title we gave to this activity is
“Self-portrait at the dawn of adulthood: no
more children but not yet men and women”.
Our
students had to write an essay and express themselves through art.
This
activity was interesting and engaging.
