Transnational Project Meeting in Italy (Milan)
We, the teachers and the students from ZŠ
Márie Medveckej in Tvrdošín, participated, within the framework of the Erasmus+
Project “Emotions”, in the Transnational Project Meeting in Italy (Milan) from 5th till 9th June 2017.
The aim of the meeting was to perform several
activities which were focused on different topics, it means that every country
should have prepared activities or games, and then to present them in Italy.
Those days were a great and pleasant experience
not only for us, but also for our students who experienced so much and also for
participants from other countries (Spain, Italy and Poland). The students with
the help of the teachers were trying to lead those activities (or so-called
cooperative games), so that all the students were able to cooperate and work
with each other. We assume that the goal of the activities (to share activities
and cooperative games carried out in each of the participating schools with all
participating countries) was achieved. For instance, the students performed several activities
related to Emotions and Music or how
to express emotions and feelings through music, Slovakia – Slovak song; Poland – Don’t worry, be happy; Spain – “Titanium” karaoke
version by David Guetta. Many activities were connected with sport, so the
topic was related to Emotions and Sport/
Sport activities like traditional Slovak games, Spain activities “Capture the
flag” game, and so on.
There were activities
with experts involved, too. The students experienced an emotional training
dealing with their confidence, self-reliance, tolerance etc. On Thursday, the
students and also the teachers were a part of something amazing. The project “Robotics for Kid” shared with us
their program "Social Mission to Mars". In the most beginning it was
quite difficult to understand, but after that everybody enjoyed the activity.
The students were divided into several groups – Rover Designers Group, Software Programming Group, Simulation and Test
Group, Topographic Surveys Group, Mission Coordination Group. Each group
had their own task, e.g. some of the students should have built the rover, some
of them were responsible for proper rover programming, and others should have
defined the exact route that the rover had to go through or prepared the Mars
map in electronic format (…).
The Italians tried to do their best, moreover, they offered and shared many
interesting activities with us (meaning all the participants) and we appreciate
that. It was a great experience for us all. The students were satisfied with
the stay in Italy. It influenced us in many ways. The most important is that we
all agree that it is essential to pay attention to the emotional aspects of the
students. We can say that the Project Emotions is progressing from the very
first point of our meeting (job shadowing).
